Okay, I am not very good at this. Oh well.
But on the brightside, I'm officially a college student!
I just started my first semester at BYUI, and I'm staying at Danbury Manor. It's a cute, old house that hass been converted into apartments. I love it!
I'm working towards being an orthopedic physician's assistant, so I'm doing Premed, with a minor in French. So it's awesome! I have five roommates named Gillian, Leah, Jessica, Cynthia and Shelan. We pretty much watch t.v. A LOT. It's great. With a little studying, of course. Actually, it is more than a lot. I spend at least three hours a day on my online class, and at least an hour a day on my other classes. I also go to three tutoring sessions a week, which has really helped with my bad French accent. :)
When it comes to having fun, i'm a little unconventional: I sew!!!
It's great. I'm learning, and getting better. Here are a few pictures of my "creations" as of late.
This is a drawstring bag I made last night, from some fabric I got from Ikea. It turned out well, if I do say so myself!
This is my sewing machine cover, I got the quilted fabric on sale. I love the iron on applique!!
Obviously, this wasn't sewn. I also crochet potscrubbers! I planned on selling these up here, but I guess I'm not very good at advertising. They work so well, and the can be washed in the washing machine!!!! I love making them, and I have a gagillion colors.
I've also made skirts, and they are pretty dang cute if I do say so myself. I have four, one that I made when I got here. Here is a picture of the fabric, I will try to remember to post a picture of the final project. SOOO cute!
Anyway. School is great, and I'm finally becoming creative!!! It's awesome. Well, if anyone actually reads this, I sell anything that I've shown, and more. I have also made Kitchenaid and toaster covers, which turned out okay too.
Au revoir!
