Confession ten

So, I usually get 7-8 hours of sleep a night, and then take a 2-3 hour nap after classes... And if anyone read my last post, I didn't sleep Sunday night, and Monday's are too busy for nap time... So I went to bed last night at 11, and woke up at 10:17... 2 minutes after my last class of the day started. I felt like a total idiot, but walked out to see all of my roommates, all feeling like crap as well. Yay!

AND THEN... Yesterday, I finished all of my homework for the rest of the semester for my Math class. YAY!

My random topic for this post would be my favorite books. I seriously love reading, and have since I could read. My dad read the first Harry Potter to me when I was 7. When my family would get together, Courtney, Brooke, and I would hide somewhere and just read. I took AP literature my senior year of high school, and my love for books just grew, as I looked at them for more than just the story told, but as the author's story that they weren't telling.

Here is a list of some of my favorite books/series: (Only a fraction are listed... :) )
  • The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
  • The Hunger Games
  •  Take of Two Cities... Rereading it now!
  • Harry Potter- I've read these at least a dozen times.
  • Wicked
  • Pride and Prejudice
  • The Notebook and The Wedding
  • The Count of Monte Cristo
  • How to Win Friends and Influence People
  • The Book of Mormon
  • DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons
  • Kite Runner
  • Time Traveller's Wife
  • Water for Elephants
  • Jane Eyre
  • Frankenstein
  • My Sister's Keeper
  • Chronicles of Narnia
  • The Princess Bride
  • The Five People You Meet in Heaven
  • Hamlet (even though it isn't really a book...)
  • The Giver
  • Alice in Wonderland
  • The Hounds of the Baskervilles (actually, I'm reading it now...)
I could go on for hundreds of more books. Each book has a specific memory, connected with certain people, times, and places. Some remind me of memories of going to see the movie with friends, and some remind me of the difficult times of the past. I love books for they are stories of the wishes of others' hearts, whether they are of the characters or of authors. Yay for books!

May the force be with you.
